So lately I've been listening to The Starting Line a lot. This song in particular:


and now I'm thinking about Warped Tour from that year.. 2002.. and how epic it was. Every single one of my favorite bands from back then in one day. NFG, TSL, Finch, Something Corporate.. here's what I wrote in my LJ on that day:

hi.
i woke up at 740 and got ready and was at beatriz's at 901. she was not ready.
robin came over. beatriz's mother was being all bipolar and bitchy as usual..
so we finally left beatrizs around 10..15ish. and went to mcdonalds. then we went to warped tour. and well, we went the wrong way. we went like an hour out of the way. so we didn't get to warped tour until 1, and we fucking missed thursday and the used and oh i was pissed. quite pissed. we saw like two songs of alkaline trio [private eye and 97] and then we walked around some. we saw something corporate and they were lovely. then we saw the starting line and wee. i love them. then finch. then new found glory!!!! oh nfg never disappoint me. much love. during new found glory i got separated from robin and beatriz of course. but then i used some strangers cell phone to call them and we met by the shoes. then we watched mxpx and good charlotte (wakefield?) and it was great fun. a WONDERFUL day!!!! i had an excellent time.

i bought a starting line tank top and button, nfg shirt, stickers and buttons.

we left after good charlotte. and went to mcdonalds. and then went home. didn't get lost going home at all :]
so i sat at beatriz's house for awhile then i came home cuz i had to go to the bathroom and well her toilets don't work. now i'm here and i just realized that i got SO burnt it's not even funny.

i saw kim lough about 80 times in the bathrooms. and i saw julia a few times, but she was with all those kids that hate me soo.. yea.

GREAT DAY!!!!! i loved it. so much. :D :D :D :D

I can't believe that was 8 years ago. well, 7 1/2... but wow. I was a bit of a mess back in the day. I guess I still am a bit of a mess.. meh. That was also the day Beatriz accidentally burnt the back of my arm with her cigarette. I don't know why we ever smoked. We were so gross... lol.

We're leaving for Florida in like ten hours. I am such a girl when it comes to packing....... here's what I have clothing-wise. (We're going to be gone for like.. 8 days)

7 Pajama Shorts/Pants
9 T-Shirts
20 (I know, what the crap?) Tank Tops
3 Long Sleeve Shirts
3 Hoodies
1 Skirt & 1 Dress
1 Bathing Suit
5 Shorts/Jeans/Capris
& a bazillion undergarments.

LOL. I don't even know.

I just finished re-watching season 1 of How I Met Your Mother. It took me about a week. I wonder if the finale made me cry as much the first time I saw it as it just did a few minutes ago.

Why am I awake so early? I think I fell asleep last night around 10. I would probably still be asleep right now but some doofus called me at 7 AM and I miraculously had signal so my phone actually rang. and I've been awake ever since. The funny thing is that I believe the doofus stayed up all night and then slept after calling me, and I was the lucky one who got to suffer through being awake with nothing to do and no one to talk to. OH WELL.

I am in love with Matthew Morrison. and Glee.

I don't know what the crowds problem is. I flipped the crap out when I saw them play this live. I bought some random Atticus compilation CD for *this* song. I am wondering why I only have two Finch songs on my iTunes and am about to get up and go find my old Finch CD... (or YouTube it, cuz I'm lazy.)

I cried when I saw this in real life and I cry when I watch videos of it.

It was the first time tears literally fell from my eyes at a concert. and hopefully the last, because that's just weird.
